CHAKRA

Base on the Hindu tradition, chakras are energy centers along the spine up to the top of the head. There are seven chakras points governing different sections of the body. The chakra points are like valves that pump energy along the central nervous system, which serve to vitalize our body and emotions. These energies are moved by our thoughts and feelings. We open or close our chakras when we decide what to think or feel in response to conditions around us. When the chakras are balanced and working in unison, it allows us to experience optimal health, physically and mentally. Each chakra has a resonating color. There are various ways to heal and balance the chakras. Some techniques used by chakra healing practitioners are: .
  • Deep breathing exercises
  • Visualization
  • Meditation
  • Aromatherapy
  • Color therapy
  • Crystals/gemstone healing
  • Mantra chanting
  • Yoga such as Kundalini Yoga

" You may believe that you are responsible for what you do, but not for what you think. The truth is that you are responsible for what you think, because it is only at this level that you can exercise choice. What you do comes from what you think."
