  • The throat is the center for communications, truthfulness and creative expressions. It relates to our sense of hearing and how we decipher messages. This energy center allows us to express our thoughts, feelings and experiences via our voice or artistic output such as music, singing, dance or literature. We give good energy to the throat chakra when speak the truth and vice versa.

    A balanced chakra: communicate and listen well, truthful, creative, tactful,and mentally alert.

    A blocked chakra: difficulty in expressing one’s thought; talk too much, egoistical, difficulty in listening and learning, tendency to lie.

    Healing the Throat Chakra

    Our chakras respond directly to how we think or feel. Positive emotions allow good energy to flow freely and negative emotions close or weaken the chakra. Positive emotions transmit positive vibration to the universe and which in turn attracts to us manifestations associating with those emotions. Balancing or healing the heart chakra can be achieved through having good emotions that supports this energy center.

    The resonating color for the throat chakra is blue. You can wear blue clothing or gemstone. Look at the clear blue sky or blue sea.

    Eat blue and purple fruits and vegetables such as blueberries, plums, dark grapes and eggplants

    You can visualize blue energy and the good emotions for the throat chakra. Select a quiet environment, stand, sit or lie down in a comfortable relaxing position. Clear your mind of any other color or thoughts. Then imagine a clear beautiful blue energy flowing gently into the throat chakra. Keep the blue energy spinning in a clock wise movement and expand it outward until it fills up the entire throat and neck area.
